Italy: the beauty of knowledge

Italy: The Beauty of Knowledge is a traveling art installation promoted and financed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Italian International Cooperation in collaboration with the National Council Research (CNR) and four Italian scientific museums; where the general theme is the relationship between scientific research, innovation and quality of life in general, and more specifically, in reference to the Italian lifestyle.

Peacock was commissioned by the Italian Embassy to arrange the organization of this traveling exhibition, during its stop in Egypt, where it was hosted at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in July 2018.

The Beauty of Knowledge presents an emotionally-engaging experience and a unique opportunity to learn about the excellence of research in science and technology provided by Italy. The traveling exhibition highlights Italy’s remarkable contributions to the fields of science and technology; tracing the developmental journey Italy started back in the fifteenth century right up to the conquest of space in the twenty first, through the evocative testimonies of those directly involved. Research, beauty, discoveries and innovations paved this incredible journey which started to unfold in one of the world’s most fascinating countries This exceptional opportunity which provides the audience the possibility of becoming immersed in an emotional engaging experience also allows them to gain deeper understanding on how the Italians excel in the fields of science and technology.
